Sound Yoga & Breathwork
When you start meditating, you may find it difficult to focus your thoughts on one particular point and not think about everyday things.
This is where meditation with a mantra can help you. When you meditate with a mantra, you can focus your mind on it and concentrate on repeating the words.
A mantra, a Sanskrit term, is energy in the form of a sound. Man means to think, trai means to protect, to liberate. A mantra is therefore something that both protects and liberates me and directs my thoughts in a certain direction.
I work with Sanskrit mantras because they have a particularly intense energetic effect.
Due to its specific energy, a mantra can improve your life and help you overcome problems or fears, depending on which mantra you work with.
It can also help you develop spiritually, regardless of your beliefs. So you don't have to be a Hindu to work with a mantra and you don't have to worship a deity if that seems strange to you!
You can compare it a little to a herbal medicine, only that instead of the healing power of the plant, it is the healing power of the sound vibration.
Depending on the topic, I will suggest a mantra that you can work with and I will show you the correct pronunciation.
